Weeks 7 & 8 Overview

Of all the areas of Human Resources, Compensation Planning is often the most overlooked and least understood functional area of HR. Compensation planning and data referencing enables you to remain competitive with Employee pay as well as ensuring pay equity.  Staying purposeful and conscious of what you are paying allows for better employee morale and productivity. There is an old saying that people "do what you pay them to do, not what you tell them to do." What this means is that incentives and rewards, including salary need to be in-line with the outcomes and work product you expect employees to deliver.

Job Leveling

Week 7 - The seventh week of Jump Start is focused on defining your company job roles and leveling them in a way that allows you to determine the relative value of each job internally. This will help ensure pay equity internally as well as give you the information needed to collect market data. Job levels and pay ranges are integrated into your company's existing payroll system*

Compensation Data

Week 8​ - During week eight of Jump Start, ProBiz HR will introduce you to several resources for obtaining ongoing compensation data for your company's job roles. The data is  gathered into an easy to reference web based repository to assist you in maintaining market competitive pay practices.

dasHRebel Pay Practices 

Weeks 1-10​ - Over the course of the 10 week Jump Start Program, ProBiz HR will be building your company a dasHRebel HR Web Portal customized to your company's needs. The Pay practices areas of dasHRebel ​will provide employees and/or leadership staff easy access to payroll resources, career pathing information, and market data relative to the positions you hire for on a regular basis.
*ProBiz HR offers a Payroll add-on for companies looking to choose and implement a new Payroll solution.
